Clark, I miss her too. I know you would not disappoint her. Don and I both think a lot of you and of Ronda. You can be proud of Luke and how you and Ronda care for your sons. I don’t really know Ronda’s boys. We so hoped you would make it to the reunion but I certainly understand other obligations came first. You can know what a great mom she was to you and always have those memories. I think of her often and always thought she was so smart and capable. Being her youngest child meant that you had less of her than your older siblings and it is never enough. Love you. Your Aunt Jackie
Oh Clark, thank you for your very heartfelt words. You are not a disappointment. Mom always saw your heart and it is very good. She set the bar high for us, as a good mom should. I hate the fact that I too often think of the difficulties instead of the beauty that she brought to my life. So here’s my thought for today…
I realize now, how brave our mom was. I mean, raising 6 children and being as involved as she was in our lives, managing the financial impact of that…she was very resourceful. Think of the courage it took to open her own business. I hope to one day be as fearless as she was. ~Stephanie
