Mom’s creations September 24, 2007

Sewing and crafts occupied a lot of her time after retiring, even to the extent that she found herself the President and Director of the Arts Club in Bella Vista, AR. This picture shows some of the things she “created” for the Christmas season at the Arts Gallery there in B.V. While I think all of her kids still have quilts Mom made for us, the little decorative things shown here had kind of slipped my mind until I came across this photo and asked Claudia about it. I have more photos and with Marty’s guidance I’ll try to get a photo album started over on the family photo page.

It would be great to start a photo page for Jean. I have pictures taken when she and I did annual “Quilt Shop Hops” for a while. We really did share a love for the same type stuff.
The picture of Jackie, Jean and Barbara on the dot photo site in the album of Gloria Jean’s photos is magnificent. How happy they all are. What beautiful aunts I have! I’ve made copies and will send them to my kids. If you haven’t seen it, go look… it will make you cheerful for the day.
When I bring up the Dot photo site I don’t find an album of Gloria Jean’s photos. What am I missing?
Oops. Now I’m really confused (not the first time!). Who emailed me… or posted… the picture of Jackie, Gloria Jean and Barbara sitting on a couch in what looks like Barbara’s living room??? I recall Stephanie mentioning that she hoped to start an album with Marty’s help… guess that was the source of my thinking the above picture was in an album. Sorry, Jackie. I’ll email it to you.
I posted the picture of Jackie, Mom and Barbara after creating the photo album on the dotphoto site. I noticed afterward that using the link I had placed in my browser brought me to only the albums that were already there, and didn’t include this one. Since then I just go to the dotphoto site and log in, then am able to see all of the albums. I suspected that this was my problem only but it seems not to be so. Did I create the album incorrectly?
Craig, the photo album for your mom does not show up for me on the dotphoto site. And of course I’m eager to see it. I guess you need to check with Marty.
